Marshmallow plant and Episode 2 of the 1st season of Ancient Conspiracies

For today’s post, I am tweaking how I do my post. I feel that my current method is a bit confusing so what I will be doing is combining my regular post with the review post of Chasity’s podcast Ancient Conspiracies into one post together. Plus, I think it will end up reaching a broader audience. So today I will be talking about the marshmallow plant and Chasity’s 2nd episode on Ancient Conspiracies. With that being said, they will be pretty long post from now on.

The marshmallow plant is a beautiful bush with white and/or pale pink flowers on them. The entire plant is beneficial and has been used for centuries for medicine. It’s not the kind one typically sees in plant nurseries and it’s a shame because not many people know how beneficial it is. You can get seeds online, however.

The plant is very hearty and can thrive in many conditions. The hardiness zones are 3-9. They like to get their feet wet, meaning, they like a lot of water and will grow in wet areas so if you have an area that has a lot of standing water like around a low-lying area or around your condensation drain to your a/c unit, this might be the pant to remedy that problem, especially in the south. It’s also a great plant to have around because it has many uses, medicinal and otherwise.

The marshmallow plant is a perennial, meaning it comes back year after year. As I said previously, it’s a bush that has pale pink flowers. The petals of the flowers have five heart shaped petals, and the leaves are fuzzy and are shaped like a maple leaf. The plant can grow between 3-6 feet tall. They thrive in moist soil and like partial sun to sunny areas. The plant’s official name is Althaea officinalis.

They are great for pollinators so if you raise bees, this is an excellent addition to your garden. It’s great for helping with promoting growth of your other plants also.

The milky white substance in the roots is naturally sweet. The ancient Egyptians would mix it with nuts and honey for a sweet treat, but it gets better than that. “Many people use marshmallow root for various ailments, including coughs, skin irritation, and digestive problems, such as ulcers. It comes in the forms of a powder, capsule, tea, and cough syrup. The mucilage of the plant contains antioxidants and research suggests that it forms a coating over skin and the digestive tract. By doing this, it may help with skin irritation and digestive issues such as ulcers,” according to, Marshmallow root: Benefits, risks, and uses (medicalnewstoday.com)

The root of the marshmallow plant is full of some of the essential vitamins and minerals that we need. Top Industrial Uses of Marshmallow (greenjeeva.com) says, “It contains vitamins A, C, B1, B2, B3, and B5, along with minerals like potassium, calcium, selenium, iron, chromium, etc. Plant compounds such as pectins, flavonoids, phenolic acids, and tannins are present in the root. It also comprises some phytoconstituents, including beta-sitosterol, lanosterol, and lauric acid.”

The French was the first ones to whip the creamy white sap of the marshmallow root into marshmallows. The leaves and the flowers can be steeped into tea or used in soups and stews that could treat upset stomach, acne, inflammation, constipation and fever.

“Marshmallow leaves contain essential oils, tannins, phenols and mucilage, while marshmallow roots also contain quercetin, flavonoids and sugars,” says Valerie Kirwin on her website Marshmallow tea - medicinal properties and recipes (healthyandnaturallife.com)

Valerie Kirwin has several marshmallow tea recipes on her website above, but I will only include one of her recipes here.

Recipe 1. Marshmallow tea is most often made from marshmallow leaves. You only need to add 1-2 teaspoons of dried marshmallow leaves or 2-3 tablespoons of fresh leaves of this plant to boiling water and let it stand for 10-15 minutes. After that, strain the tea and you can consume it.”

Just make sure that you thoroughly dry the flowers and leaves. Any moister in them will cause them to not release all of the beneficial properties. Once you harvest the leaves and flowers, wash them and put them in a paper bag for about 2 weeks, or you can dry them in a dehydrator.

According to Rosalee de la Forêt “the cold infusion is considered to be a purer extract of the mucilage.) She has several really good suggestions

Marshmallow Cold Infusion

What you’ll need…

a jar and lid

marshmallow root

lukewarm water

Time

To make this preparation, simply fill a jar 1/4 of the way with marshmallow root.

Then fill the jar with lukewarm water and cover with a lid.

Let sit for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight. The water should change color to a soft yellow.

Strain off the roots. The resulting liquid should be thick and viscous.

Now that we see how easy it is to prepare this root, let’s look at the many ways we can use it!

Mouth Wash

Marshmallow makes a wonderful mouth wash for painful mouth conditions. A marshmallow rinse soothes mouth ulcers, canker sores, cuts on the inside of the cheeks, inflamed gums, and even sore throats. Simply swish the cold infused tea around in your mouth to coat the affected tissues.

Heartburn Home Remedy and Ulcers

Use this cold infusion to find relief from heartburn, peptic ulcers, and inflamed intestines. Besides being able to soothe inflammation, marshmallow root is also a vulnerary, healing wounds within the digestive tract. Herbalist Paul Bergner calls this a Band-Aid for the stomach. Of course, I recommend addressing the root cause of these issues for long term care. It’s a great heartburn home remedy.

Skin Wash

Marshmallow root is an amazing topical treatment for wounds and burns. In the past it people called it “mortification root” because of its ability to prevent gangrene.

Colds and Flu

Marshmallow is a wonderful plant for the cold and flu season. It can soothe an inflamed sore throat. It stimulates phagocytosis, an important part of the immune system and you can even use it to moisten the lungs in cases of dry hot conditions, such as hot coughs with little to no expectoration. Recent scientific research has shown it to be a powerful anti-tussive herb as well. I commonly recommend it for post infection coughs – these are the ones keeping you awake at night long after the illness has passed.

Urinary Infections

Herbalists frequently use marshmallow for urinary problems such as cystitis, kidney stones, and bladder infections. Besides soothing the urinary tract, it is also a diuretic, which can be of further aide in many urinary problems.

Marshmallow root is considered safe for everyone to use although it is recommended to be taken several hours after taking prescription medications as it may inhibit the absorption,” says Rosalee de la Forêt on her website Marshmallow Root Cold Infusion Remedy (learningherbs.com)

Her website is amazing!

Marshmallows from the root of the marshmallow plant

Original Marshmallows Recipe From Marshmallow Plant Root • New Life On A Homestead

“2 egg whites

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup raw cane sugar

1 tbsp powdered Marshmallow (root)

Whip egg whites until almost stiff. Add vanilla and whip until stiff. Then whip in the sugar, 1 tsp at the time. Finally, add Marshmallow and whip again. Place by teaspoonful on cookie sheet. Bake in 325 oven for 1 hour.”

To get the best medicinal benefits, it’s best to time your harvest by what part of the plant you are utilizing. For example, if you’re harvesting the leaves and flowers, it’s best to harvest them in early spring just after flowering but if you’re harvesting the root, it’s best to harvest the roots 2-3 years after planting it. Harvest the roots in late fall after the plant has gone dormant and just before the ground freezes. The late fall is when the medicine is most concentrated in the roots.

It is possible to harvest the roots without killing the entire plant by root division. Using a spade, dredge down into the ground cutting the roots to one side of the plant, dislodging only part of the plant and leaving the other half with the roots intact behind. Remove the half of the plant that you’ve dislodged with the roots intact. There may be new plant growth attached to the root and you can cut that new growth off and plant them to make another plant. Cut all of steams and green foliage off as close to the roots as possible. Make sure to dry out the leaves for tea. Cut the tinny, skinny roots off and discard. Only keep the roots that are just about as big around as a pencil, maybe a little smaller but not by much. Cut the roots into 1/2-inch pieces and put them into a bowl of water. Rinse them about 4 times or until the water is clear.

Dry out the roots in a dehydrator or in a paper bag for about 3-6 weeks depending on size. Once dry, grind them up into a powder either using a blender, coffee grinder or a mortar and pestle. Store in small batches in small airtight containers away from light and moister at room temperature. It will keep for about 6 months.

Here is another recipe that I found on Homemade Marshmallows with Marshmallow Root (growforagecookferment.com) for making marshmallows out of marshmallow root.

Homemade Marshmallows

This homemade marshmallow recipe uses real marshmallow root and honey. Fluffy and all-natural, these are perfect for hot cocoa or s'mores!

 Ingredients

1 cup water divided

3 tbsp grass fed gelatin

1 cup raw honey

1/2 tsp salt

½ tsp vanilla bean powder

1 tbsp marshmallow root powder

1/2 cup arrowroot powder

Instructions

Pour half (½ cup) of the water into the bowl of a stand mixer and pour the gelatin on top to bloom. It will take about 10 minutes to fully bloom.

In the meantime, add the second ½ cup of water, honey, and salt into a small pot on the stovetop with a candy thermometer. Toggle the heat between medium to high, also avoid stirring the mixture after the first minute to prevent the mixture from boiling over. You want the temperature to get between 230°-240°F (110-115° C), this will take an estimate of 10-14 minutes.

Turn the stand mixer on low to mix the gelatin, and slowly pour the honey mixture into the stand mixer. Slowly increase the speed to high and whip until the mixture has reached “peak” meaning your mixture will look and feel like pure marshmallow fluff. This takes an estimate of 6-10 minutes, in the last minute add in the marshmallow root powder, and vanilla bean powder.

During the 6-10 minutes your marshmallows are beating, prepare a 9x9 pan with parchment paper. Dust the parchment paper with half (¼ cup) of the arrowroot powder.

When the marshmallow is at its peak, quickly scoop it into the pan and flatten the top with an offset spatula. Dust the rest of the arrowroot powder onto the top of the parchment paper.

Gently place parchment paper over the 9x9 pan, and let the marshmallow set overnight.

The following day, take out the parchment paper by flipping the pan over onto a cutting board. Take off the parchment paper from the marshmallow and use a sharp knife to cut the marshmallows into squares.

Enjoy the marshmallows right away or place them into a glass jar and store them in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.

Notes

Agar agar powder can be used as a gelatin substitute in recipes at a 1:1 ratio. I haven't tested for this recipe, but if you prefer a vegetarian or vegan marshmallow it's a possible option.

For a vegan option, you could use maple syrup or try this homemade vegan honey (along with agar agar for the gelatin) as a substitute. I haven’t tested it in this recipe, but I can say it’s a good honey alternative!

These marshmallows are best to enjoy fresh yet still very enjoyable as time goes on.

Try roasting them over a fire, using them for s’mores or natural cereal treats, adding them to hot chocolate, or just snacking on their own.

This is another plant that I would gladly let take over my property and it’s such a beautiful plant.

Now moving on to Chasity’s podcast, Ancient Conspiracies. I’m hitting on episode 2 of her first season today.

As you can see, Chasity recently changed her logo and I’m loving it! She also went live on Facebook and announced that her 2nd season will be coming out on August 23, 2023, and her new website link is ancientconspiracies.net. She also has her blog at ancientconspiracies.blogspot.com. She does have a member's only area also for $10 a month to help her with everything because this has become like a full-time job for her. I for one, would be devastated without her podcast and website so supporting her either through subscribing to her members only or showing support by passing along her podcast and website and/or rating either/or helps her so much, not to mention, it gets the most important message out and reaches more people by sharing it.

Now on to her episode 2 of season 1 of Ancient Conspiracies.

Chasity talks about the history of the Book of Enoch. She says that it is the key piece of Biblical history and I agree with her 100%. Like I’ve said before, if God didn’t want us to read the Book of Enoch, he wouldn’t have aloud Enoch to write it or allowed it to be quoted or would not have allowed it to be talked about in the Holy Bible. Enoch was a faithful follower of God’s; he wasn’t trying act against God in any way. In fact, Chasity points out that, “in Hebrews 11 Enoch pleased God. Jude, Jesus’ brother quotes the Book of Enoch in Jude 1:14-15 and is almost an exact copy of Enoch 1:9,” also, “cementing it in canonic scripture,” says Chasity. But some gets him; Enoch, the son of Jared, the father of Methuselah and the great grandfather of Noah, confused with Enoch the son of Cain and father of Irad. Cain was the first to commit murder by killing his brother Abel. This evil man, also called Enoch, causes some people to shy away from the Book of Enoch. I personally think that was by design. Like Chasity says, “for everything God has, Satan has a counterfeit.”

Enoch lived 365 years! Wow! Can you imagine?! Can you imagine what he saw in his lifetime? I can’t but I would love to sit and just listen to his stories…you know…the ones that aren’t in the Book of Enoch.

Enoch was the first one to teach man to read and write in the Heavenly language Hebrew while being called the first “Scribe of God.”

Enoch and Elijah are the only ones and the first to be rapture, having never experience death and some believe that they are going to be the 2 witnesses that returns during the end times.

Chasity goes on to tell us that the Book of Enoch tells a story of 200 fallen angels who descend on Mount Herman, mate with the women of Earth and create giant offspring. I bring this point up that Chasity made because I came across a video recently that I found fascinating and is related to this involving the structure known as the Devils Tower in Cheyenne Wyoming and many other similar structures around the world which brings me to my main point for today.

Some say that these structures could actually be trees that was cut down by angels just before the flood. It was said that God sent his angels down to Earth to cut down 200 trees so that the giants wouldn’t climb them to escape the flood and certain death. Did you catch that? 200 trees…200 angels (maybe I’m grasping at straws, I don’t know). I tend to believe that story. There is so many of these structures that looks like petrified wood. At this point, nothing sounds impossible to me. I think it's interesting that when I ask Google what the Devil’s Tower truly is, videos of giants and Nephilim pop up. There’s something to that.

As I have mentioned in the past, I am a babe in Christ and do not recall if these structures being trees and if God sent his angels down to cut them down before the flood is actually in the Bible or if it’s in the Book of Enoch. I’m assuming that this is merely a theory but with the evidence presented, it’s hard to dispute that theory mainly because they have the same cell structures.

I have included 4 different YouTube videos so that you can judge for yourselves. The 2nd video is actually backed up by Biblical scripture and breaks down the history of giants and gives compelling evidence of giants' existence, but it doesn’t mention the “trees”. The 3rd video however, does! And it shows pictures of these structures and how similar they look to recently cut tree stumps.

The last video, to me is the most compelling. I usually don’t put much stock in TikTok videos, but this video is pretty convincing.

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8NQMUj5/

I end on this note, in the Bible it says that the end of days will be like the days of Noah. Am I wrong for thinking that what that means that there will be giants once again roaming the Earth?

In the King James version of the Bible in Saint Luke 17:26-27, God says,

26 “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” 27 “they did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.” 28 “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;” 29 “But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.” 30 “Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”

What I’m understanding here is that in the last days, our world will look like the days of Noah with giants and when things get that bad, while we are living our worldly lives, the end of days are upon us. Is that right?

Another quick point I would like to make, there is a debate of when the tribulations is going to happen, will it be before or after the rapture. Well, I think I have found the answer and I know I’m not the only one to find this in the Bible but what I don’t understand is why it’s a debate when the Bible clearly spells it out but I would love to hear other points of views because, like I said, I am a babe in Christ so the chance of me reading it wrong is very likely. In the book of Matthew 24: 17-21:

17 “Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:” 18 “Neither let him which is in the field return back to his clothes.” 19 “And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!” 20 “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:” 21 “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.’

If I’m understanding this right, it is saying that the rapture is happening first and then the great tribulation will happen. Is this right? Does anyone understand it differently?

I am not trying to scare anyone by any means. It’s knowing the enemy, so we know how to defeat him. I know it’s very hard to think about especially since there are so many out there that doesn’t know Christ and doesn’t want to feel his wrath. Think of it this way, if someone you love was about to step on a snake that you saw but they didn’t, wouldn’t you warn them and then let them make the choice if they want to stay on the same path they are on? This is the same thing. How can anyone make an educated decision if they aren’t educated. I’ve always said, “I’m only as smart as the information I’m given.” This is what Chasity, and I am doing, arming as many people as we can with the information and from there, you make your own decision. I, for one, think that the end of days is right in our faces. All of the signs are there. I know many others sees and feels it also, so if you want a relationship with Christ, you’re running out of time. Please go to your religious leader, parent, friend, grandparent or even me if you need someone to help walk you through the steps of asking God into your heart or if you just need prayer or to talk, I am here for you or find someone you’re comfortable talking to. Please don’t face it alone! There is always someone that will be willing to help. God brings people into our lives when we need them most.

If I don’t know the answer to something, I either find it myself or find someone who knows the answer, but you will never be alone in your journey. You can contact me on my new Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100095261965450&mibextid=LQQJ4d and I will happily have a private conversation with you and help you any way I can.

Much love and many blessings to all!

Ancient Conspiracies 1st Headlines Episode

Headlines Episode #1

Ancient Conspiracies: Headlines 9.9.22: Long Live the King and the Return of the Gods on Apple Podcasts

Click the link above to listen to this episode.

Chasity did 4 Headlines episodes and today I will be talking about her first Headlines episode. This Headlines episode is is in between her first and second episode and it’s focusing on Queen Elizabeth’s death. Chasity presented evidence that now King Charles could possibly be the Antichrist. Now just to be clear, Chasity actually say for sure that he was, she just presented evidence for her listeners to look at and draw our own conclusions.

Chasity isn’t the only one playing around with this idea so its not really a stretch at all because the evidence is pretty compelling. In fact, I found an article on Duck Duck Go by a guy named Samuel Tuominen back in 2018 giving 27 interesting reasons why he thinks this theory is anything but a theory. He says in his article on website Samueltuominen.com are as follows.

Point # 1 - “The Antichrist arises during that generation that sees Israel’s revival (Ezek. 36:24, Matt. 24:32-34, Thess. 2:4) Fulfillment: Prince Charles was born the same year as Israel become the independent nation from the British Empire in 1948; for the first time since the Kingdom of Israel and Judah and 2,500 years of diaspora.”

He states this alone isn’t enough to say conclusively that King Charles is the Antichrist because in 1948 there were many people born that year, but also the Bible doesn’t actually say that.

Point # 2 - However, Tuominen’s point number 2 can be construed in the Bible. He points out that, “the Antichrist is a prince within the boundaries of the ancient Roman Empire (Dan. 9:26-27.”

Tuominen was then presented with the question, “where is the connection to Prince Charles?” With his answer being a quote from Daniel 9 and shows a map of what the Roman Empire looked like in the year 69 before the temple was demolished and a more in-depth explanation.

Point #3 - “Antichrist is associated with, “the people of the prince that shall come [and] shall destroy the city and the sanctuary,” I.e. to the Prince of Romans (Dan. 9:27, Luke 21:20).”

Point # 5 - In his point 5, he confirms Chasity by saying, “Prince Charles’ official title Charles, Prince of Whales, sums up to 666 both in English and Hebrew-Greek gematria (what earliest church fathers also used),” and shows a chart of it spelled out using gematria in English and Hebrew, and links the gematria calculator further down in the article.

Other points of interest that Tuominen makes are too much for me to type them all up but they include point 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 23 and 27, but I person think that point 14, 15 and 27 are the most interesting of all.

Point #14 - states, a poll done in 2016, 3/4 of the London population believe that they will be a completely cashless society by 2023, but a start-up company is trying to speed it up so that it happens within the next 10 years. The name of that company is Revolut. I thought that was pretty interesting and keep in mind that he wrote this article in 2018.

Point #15 - Shows a video of a guy on stage speaking to an audience using a very realistic looking hologram. The significance of the is apparent when you read the rest of his article for point # 15.

Point #27 is the most intriguing of them all I think. He says, "The fraudulence of the Antichrist’s ”Salvation” message will reveal to the whole world when he provokes China with her Eastern allies against the Western Hemisphere, causing the most terrifying war in the history of mankind, Armageddon (Daniel 11:44, Rev. 16:12-16). Fulfillment: Along with his brother Andrew, Charles is also interested in continuing the Great Game with other Super Powers over the control of Middle East’s and Central Asian’s natural resources. He has concealed this geopolitical strategy against China to the apparent ”humanitarian” concern of Tibet under the Chinese occupation. He has boycotted and insulted Chinese leaders on several occasions in the aim to restore the British imperialist influence in the Far East, which it lost in 1997 when Great Britain transferred the sovereignty of Hong Kong from United Kingdom to China. In Prince’s private letters which came to the public in 2004, he moaned this as a great tragedy.”

I think that it is interesting since this article was written so long ago. Chasity touched on several of these points in one of her episodes and I think both Chasity and Tuominen are on to something. What do yall think?

I am doing something a little different with this blog. There are several people that said that they were getting error messages when they tried to post on it. Chasity was kind enough to let me temporarily start a chat using her Ancient Consistories Facebook so that followers could discuss it there until I figure out what was going on with my blog. Unfortunately, the culprit was the different servers that people was using. So, since I could fix the issue, I decided to start a Facebook page for my blog so that people could go there and discuss my blog’s content there instead.
